Well they say time flies when you are having fun ~ so are we having fun? I had left knee replacement surgery 12/9/11 and had right knee replacement surgery 4/5/12. Yep, a whole bunch of fun! But looking on the bright side of things, now I should be able to out walk anyone...well give me about 6 months to a year to be completely healed then I say lets go for it.
I went to the 20th year Summit for Celebrate Recovery in August, 2011. It was good to be able to speak with other State Reps, get ideas, realize my group is not an island and CR is very much needed today as 20 years ago.
I went to visit my son and daughter-in-law over Thanksgiving, 2011 - and had a blast. It was so relaxing and non-stressful ~ a really good time had by all I think.
While getting my 2nd knee job, took the plunge and am having my kitchen renovated along with my bathroom. It has been going on for almost 2 months and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Will blog later with pictures (I hope) have to figure out the camera hookup to computer thing to pull pictures. Son of mine where are you? I can figure this out, I am a grown woman for goodness sakes.
